My guess the only difference between the WeatherPro and standard versions is the plastic laminated coating over the unit. It is thick and melted well. While still asethetically nice it still should provide adequate protection.

(More customer reviews)I love that this heating pad is adjustable after my snake burnt himself on his last one. I have it on the lower setting and check it every day to make sure it isn't too warm.
My only concern with this is that it doesn't stick well at all. I have had to duck tape it to the bottom of my tank after it was slowly peeling off a number of times.
All in all, I like it. I feel that duck tape is a small price to pay to be able to adjust the heat.

I took a pan out of the oven last night using one of these Good Grips and another standard oven mitt and though I did not burn with either one, I did feel heat coming through the oven mitt. I felt no heat coming through Good Grips. Terrific potholder.

(More customer reviews)High quality rug perfect as an indoor welcome mat for my apartment. Tne colors are brilliant and the image of the chili peppers is "spicy", fun and happy. I placed a rubber mat under it to keep it from sliding. It is comfortable to walk on. I especially purchaced a Jellybean Rug because they are washable, as welcome mats get soiled over time. I haven't washed it yet but am glad I can do so when it needs it. I also like the fact that it is made of 35% recycled plastic.

You must be careful when lifting it from one section to another, simply because it is plastic and quite large. Works just like the other June Tailor rulers: shape cut and shape cut plus--just very big. It has a nice handle, although you really need to use two hands to move it around. Will only cut in 2 1/2 inch increments--so you can't make 9 inch squares, for example. I still like it a lot.

This combination seems to work great. This heat mat reaches operating temperature pretty quickly and the thermostat keeps it from getting too hot. I've had these two items for almost a month now and my temperature has not varied more than 3F since I installed them.

(More customer reviews)I'm a big LSU fan and the other similar mats/pads I found were around $40-50 which seemed like a lot. I found this one and so far so good (note I have a gas grill). My grill sits on a patio and I was getting stains from the food/grease and the grill itself (looks like rust from something on the grill). The mat has stopped anything from dripping through to the patio.
The mat does 'absorb' the grease which I thought would be a problem, but when I rinsed it off with the hose most of the food and grease came out. I wasn't sure if it would look OK after it dried but seems the same as before and still working good.
It got a lot of attention from my friends when they saw it at my house during the games.

(More customer reviews)I thought these would be much more flexible than they are. We do use them regularly, but they are not nearly so pliable as just picking up and easily curling them to create a funnel for your food. They have a tendancy to snap back, and I wouldn't dare store them rubber-banded up as they would never go flat again. Indeed, our biggest complaint with these is that they just require too much effort to bend one way or another - be it rolled up for moving items to the pan or flat on the counter for chopping.
And don't even think about putting them in the dishwasher, even on the gentle cycle, regardless of what the description says! They get even more brittle in the dishwasher and lose what little flexibility they have.
At the end of the day, I wouldn't buy them again.
