(More customer reviews)I can't say enough about these beds! I have an elderly dog who is ill and every bed I own (3, soon to be 4) gets washed AT LEAST once per day. They have held up beautifully. The padding is thick enough for my italian greyhound, who spends 99% of her time in bed. The stitching and fabric are strong. No sign of wear at all. I won't buy another brand of pet bed again.

(More customer reviews)This mat is just what I wanted. We just did our kitchen floor with pergo flooring and did not want the dog water to warp the floor. I just bought a Drinkwell pet fountain and thought this mat would be perfect. It was my fault that I didn't check the measurements of the fountain. The fountain is huge! The mat was too small for it but the food bowl fits perfectly. Sadly I have to send it back.

I love the paw prints, and they're not covered up by the food and water dishes (we even have a large water filter) so the mat is nice and big. Glad I got it, it'll last long too - it's durable. Worth the extra bucks to buy a mat that'll last as long as your pets!

If you have very large bowls and wish to have more area covered, you might want to opt for a larger size mat. This mat is easy to wipe clean since it is plastic. The paw print design is really cute, however, when I ordered it I didn't realize that the mat is partially see-through but it still looks nice.

2) Has nubbies on both sides so nothing will slide (might be overkill for cat bowls).

4) BIGGER would be better: I had to buy two (5 cats equals 1 wet bowl 1 dry bowl 1 water bowl and 1 cat grass bowl).
5) Better colors. The turquoise kinda worked for me but I would have preferred a sage green or muted blue.
BOTTOM LINE ---- these are the best cat food mats I have found as there's no disgusting/vulgar/cutesy paw print, smiley-face, etc. decorative accents and they are easy to clean.

She took to it easily, and due to her arthritis often has to lay down to eat, so she lays right there on the mat. No problems will cleaning mat. Always looks like new. The backing keeps the mat in place very well too. Great buy for me and anyone else out there.

Also wanted a dog-related design that went with the wood floors but didn't clash with the other decor. This rug worked out perfectly. It is thicker than the cheap area rugs bought at department stores and it doesn't slide around at all.

(More customer reviews)The mat looks wise is wonderful. The pattern and the fabric are cool and crisp. I just the mat would be thicker and bigger. I wish it was bigger because having a sloppy 75lb dog with hardwood floors makes for a lot of extra clean up. But if you have a smaller dog I think it may work better or a not so messy dog. My GSD Phoenix gets water EVERYWHERE though and the mat needs to be bigger to suit my needs.

(More customer reviews)This mat was fine for the short term, but began to get stains/rings from our dog's stainless steel bowl after about 10 months-1 year. We needed to replace it. The edges also curled after we put it in the dishwasher (probably should not have done that.. ).
What you can't tell from the picture is that it has an outline of a goofy dog picture and dinner within the mat. It is like a raised line drawing. Can't see it much when the bowls are on it. It is also not pearlized... just plain gray plastic.

(More customer reviews)I recently got a guide dog, and will need to put my cat food up on a smooth table and wanted to contain the small bits of food that fall away from the dishes. I didn't even think about the dishes sliding off the table until I read the description on this product and it mentioned the non-skid feature.
I ordered four and since I am blind, I didn't really know what to expect from the description. I received them today, and they are about the size of a smallish serving tray. They are a hard plastic material with raised bumps on the top and the edges have the non-skid rubber material that is slightly raised. They will work great for containing food and water. One tray will easily hold two small cat dishes. One tray will hold one large dog dish. I think they are going to be absolutely perfect!

(More customer reviews)I wish I had bought one of these years ago! It works great, seems to be of good quality materials, washes up easily, and contains all of my puppy's spills and dribbles. Nice rim really holds the water and spills. Buy the matching bowls too.... they fit over the paw prints and sort of "lock" into place - which keeps them in the middle of the mat. My only complaint was that the stupid sticker label was very hard to remove.

(More customer reviews)I have two cats, and as most households with multiple cats or dogs know, pet food dispensers and bowl areas can become quite messy. I had already bought the Petmate Le Bistro (Small) water and food dispenser. My two cats are very messy eaters so it was always fustrating for me to constantly pick up kibble crumbs before it goes everywhere. Along with that my little cats loved to move the water bowl serveral times a day and water would be everywhere. I was down to my wits end and decided to go out and buy a food mat. The ones that were in the store didn't look like it would keep the mats in place so I went online and found these.
I LOVE these mats! First off, the mats are made of a non-slip rubber so it will stay in place. The ribbing inside the mat ensures that any kibble falling on the mat will not go anywhere else. The ribbing also helps keep the food & water dispensers in place. Thus ensuring that the water bowl will not tip over or move around much. Even if water does slosh around and ends up on the mat, the mat does a very good job of keeping the water inside the mat ribbing. Clean up is a breeze. Since I have bought these mats, I have not had to constantly clean my cats' food area. Definitely a great buy!
