(More customer reviews)I was looking for a mat I could put the food/water bowls on and so that my dog wouldn't slide around on the wood floors when eating/drinking. Also wanted a dog-related design that went with the wood floors but didn't clash with the other decor. This rug worked out perfectly. It is thicker than the cheap area rugs bought at department stores and it doesn't slide around at all.
