We bought one 2 years ago for our little boy and it worked so well at soothing him it was a must for our newest edition. Oh and the first one we bought it's batteries lasted nearly two years as well, so don't think you have to replace them every five minutes.

(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure that this would fit our Graco pack and play, but it was a perfect fit. We took a trip for Thanksgiving and our 19 mo. old isn't ready to sleep in a real bed, so we took his pack and play. When we've gone to visit grandparents before he wouldn't sleep in it- kept waking up during the night. He was too used to sleeping on his mattress in his crib and the pack and play mat was too hard for him to get comfortable. This mattress was a live saver! He was able to get comfortable and slept through the night while we were on vacation. Took his naps in there too. Make sure you get the mattress sheet cover for it as just the plastic will not feel good. It needs a fitted sheet over it.

We didn't get our coir baby mattresses for our twins from this vendor, but coir mattress prices have been coming down and I expect will become a big seller on Amazon.
There is nothing better than coir, mainly for comfort. Coir is incredibly strong, especially when treated as was the coir that went into this mattress. If this mattress were thicker, I'd compare it to a college competition level wrestling mat only with a little crunch to it. This mattress is breathable.
A lot of people don't know it but coir is a material that is naturally not a habitat for dust mites, it is naturally free of bacteria and fungal spores and it's not attractive to parasites. It has long been used in India and Sri Lanka for comfort and health, and has been produced for years in Mexico and several other countries.
We're very pleased with our coir baby mattresses.

Natural Mat Mohair Mat Review

(More customer reviews)I looked at a lot of organic baby mattresses before purchasing this one. After much research, I found out that a lot of the popular brands, like Naturepedic, are not 100% organic. So it was going to be a Natural Mat. Between the Cocomat, Latex, and Mohair that this company offers, it seemed that the Mohair mat was the most firm after reading all the reviews. I couldn't find any local retail stores that carried this brand so I had to be pretty sure that I was going to make a big purchase like this. This mattress is very firm and well made. I know that I'll be using this for my second child. It fits perfectly in my standard sized crib (Sorelle Commuter Crib). But I have to take one star off because I noticed that the position my baby sleeps in, after only a week, has a very slight dip. I'm not expecting it to completely spring back to its shape, obviously because it isn't a spring mattress, but I don't want it to lose its shape over time. I wasn't expecting it to do this after only a week. I'm just hoping that it isn't permanently compressed like this, and frequent flipping and rotating of the mattress will help.
