(More customer reviews)I looked at a lot of organic baby mattresses before purchasing this one. After much research, I found out that a lot of the popular brands, like Naturepedic, are not 100% organic. So it was going to be a Natural Mat. Between the Cocomat, Latex, and Mohair that this company offers, it seemed that the Mohair mat was the most firm after reading all the reviews. I couldn't find any local retail stores that carried this brand so I had to be pretty sure that I was going to make a big purchase like this. This mattress is very firm and well made. I know that I'll be using this for my second child. It fits perfectly in my standard sized crib (Sorelle Commuter Crib). But I have to take one star off because I noticed that the position my baby sleeps in, after only a week, has a very slight dip. I'm not expecting it to completely spring back to its shape, obviously because it isn't a spring mattress, but I don't want it to lose its shape over time. I wasn't expecting it to do this after only a week. I'm just hoping that it isn't permanently compressed like this, and frequent flipping and rotating of the mattress will help.
