(More customer reviews)I have used hot glue guns both professionally and personally for more than 25 years (I have made handmade holiday items (wreaths, mini-trees, etc.) for national catalogs and am a professional artist who works with glass and mixed media in addition to oils. In fact, I own 15 hot glue guns. Words don't describe how wonderful this new product is. I have know for a while that it was coming onto the market and couldn't wait to get a kit. I did and I used it and I will never use a hot glue gun without it...no more burned fingers, I can place small detail items into a work and know it will be neat and have very very few drips etc. Most every household has a hot glue gun.....they also need this kit. WOW!!!

(More customer reviews)I wasn't about to pay the high price associated with the other "score board", so I purchased this reasonably priced one by Martha Stewart. I love this board and the ease of use it offers. I love the storage compartment at the top and the very useful "How To" book that comes with it. Now, when I watch those tutorial videos on how to make cards and envelopes I am glad that I bought this one. I strongly believe in quality versus quantity, but that doesn't mean that I have to pay an arm-and-a-leg to always get it. Thank you Martha for thinking about those on a tight budget!!

With the other hand, hold the scoring tool at a 45 degree angle and run down the length of the paper from the groove at the top to the bottom of the sheet. Using the scoring tool with your other hand, holding it at a 45 degree angle, run down to the bottom of the paper starting at the groove at the top of the board. You should have a perfectly straight fold line. Align cardstock with either the left or right side of the board depending on the instructions of the particular project.

(More customer reviews)I kind of want to give this item a low review simply because I do not believe it should be extra. It should be something that comes with the machine.. But that has nothing to do with its purpose or function. I use mine all of the time. If I am cutting I am using the spatula to remove my cuts. It always works great and when I use it I rarely tear anything.
For thin papers or extra sticky mats this is a must!

(More customer reviews)I'm not sure why something resembling a hair brush is so expensive. My guess - this is one of the only felting mats I could find online. Overall, a good product but I would have gotten a bigger one if they were cheaper. I probably should have just bought a hair brush.

Clover Felting Needle Mat Large Review

(More customer reviews)While this felting mat works just fine with the Clover felting tool, it really is unnecessary. An equally thick felting foam pad works just as well, if not better. Flat felt tends to stick to the bristles and get kind of messy, which might make roving felt faster in the first place but will mess it up as it felts, too. Also, it's pretty worthless if you switch to using a single felting needle, and it doesn't work as well with thin layers of roving which sometimes work their way down the bristles before they get a chance to really felt.
This Clover mat does have three advantages over a foam pad: 1)It has a hard plastic back that lets you use it on a pillow in your lap (whereas a foam pad should be used over a hard surface lest you poke yourself), 2)It is well-made and more durable than a foam pad, and 3)It will hold things in place, and so it works better when needle felting onto a felt ball or such.
