(More customer reviews)Surprisingly yes! I suppose because its 20% cotton that may help, but this rug feels great under your feet. Its sturdy, fashionable and feels good. Its a shag rug as advertised so expect thick strands (my girlfriend says they looks like worms, but I love them) and the pictures provided here are fairly accurate of what it looks like on your floor. For the price, this is a quality rug.

Within a month it started to show signs of cracking, and within 3 months (since purchase) it will have to be replaced. The very chairs its designed to sit under were the cause of the cracking. Not nearly as durable as they would have you believe. Save your money.

Often photos online are hard to judge (with everyone's monitors being calibrated differently) and she was concerned that the colors in the rug would end up being dull in person, but they are even more vibrant than pictured. The rug also seems to be well made, and I hope it holds up well over time. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

(More customer reviews)I recently bought a circular dining table for a new apartment which sadly has the dining room adjacent to the family room which means carpet =(
I've kids so dinner + carpet = nightmare
Looking around for rugs and mats I came across rectangular bamboo mats and office chair mats (I was close to nabbing two rectangular ones) until I came across this one.
Pros:
It fits my needs perfectly
plenty of room for the chairs to slide (more on that later)
looks nice to boot
Cons:
A bit pricey
being bamboo obviously there are 'slats' which causes a few things:
*table legs put pressure on certain areas, especially when on carpet
*chairs/legs only slid well when going the direction of the slat else they can get hung up.
Might need a stiff pad to go under it if you are planning to use it over carpet thereby potentially increasing the cost

(More customer reviews)This natural fiber, area rug is beautiful. It looks hand loomed and it has a very tight and dense weave. I especially like the rich colors. I bought the tangerine. It's tonal. The rug is a true tangerine with deep pumpkin orange woven together. Each color is distinctive and alternating in the weave. The rug has a 1/2" solid tangerine border going around the rug. It's rubber backed, but the manufacturer recommends using a pad.
Professional cleaning recommended. This rug, absolutely, does not like water. Even a small amount of water will cause the rug to shrink and buckle slightly. I purchased for the dining room. I've been doing my spring cleaning, trying to freshen things up. The rug makes the room look so warm and inviting. The rugs are made in India. These are beautiful rugs available in beautiful, rich colors. I glad Amazon offers these. You can find a lot of Sisal rugs, but without the borders and in very neutral colors. Thanks Amazon for the super speedy, free delivery. I appreciate it.

(More customer reviews)This was a great purchase. It covers a large area. I bought several different bamboo rugs to cover new hard wood floors from dog paws. This way we still have hard wood floors but they withstand the jumping and running from dogs. There are built in anti slip mats under the rug. The rug does sometimes manage to get its end tucked under, but I think that is due to active dog play. The picture is accurate, the color is a nice rich chocolate with a few texture points.

Because I felt my son was ruining our new wall to wall carpeting while eating in his room with his friends and doing projects at his desk I had to do something to save it. Tried carpet remnants, but they just moved around and would not stay in place. This rug has a rubber backing so it stays in place over the wall to wall. The dark brown color is very rich and the texture of the carpet is pleasing. It isn't a thick rug which is just what I wanted. Easily slips under furniture. In a few years when he has flown the coop here, I will remove it - maybe. For this price, I wont be too concerned if it gets stained or ruined.
