(More customer reviews)It didn't seem like the bamboo was treated or processed to withstand constant usage. After 2 months it's already looking weathered and old. One of the slots now moves out of its joints, so i think they are only glued together. Don't know if I should use Danish Oil or lacquer to keep it from stripping any further. The metal handles are already rusted. Either I got a bad version of this product or they are all made like this.

(More customer reviews)This dish rack is perfect! It's very pretty and I can stack an amazing amount of dishes, cookware and glasses on it, more stuff than you would imagine. My older rack - styled exactly like this one - finally wore out after many years and I ordered this one - fingers crossed it would be similar! I previously ordered and tried the larger 20 inch rack (slightly different style) but things kept falling off the ends and it was hard to keep it on the drain rack. Now I'm very happy with this Lipper dish rack.

(More customer reviews)Excellent construction, very well made. Available from Ikea (not on-line) for $4.99, about the same price I paid in 1994. Very strong, held up fine for my heavy stoneware dishes from LL Bean. Left it with my brother when I moved - its replacement (a different make) fell apart within two months. So, back to Ikea! There is a matching cutlery caddy there, too.
