I have a long hair husky that we brushed regularly and didn't think much of it until I got this brush. The long "teeth" allow us to comb her more quickly than other designs, and the rake design makes it much easier to use than "comb" designs. Easily cuts through matted fur and undercoat without excessive pulling of her fur. I highly recommend it for any dog with a thick undercoat.
