The blanket is made in Mexico, has a high quality firm weave, holds up well in the wash, and is perfect for warming yourself for watching TV, sleeping, or hanging on a wall. I bought two in different colors. They do not have the word "Mexico" weaved into the pattern as many blankets do, but we don't care.
