(More customer reviews)Our shower was oftentimes slippery from soaps and conditioners. We did not want a mat so thought we would try this. It is about a 4 oz bottle and comes with a little sponge type applicator and a plastic glove. Your tub MUST be porcelain, it will probably damage fiberglass. First you clean your tub, we used soft scrub. Then rinse fully and fully dry. It is suggested you remove the drain strainer, that is a simple screw that takes 1 min only. You pour in the liquid which is a slight green color (but turns colorless later) and use the supplied pad to move it around the bottom of the tub with your glove on. Once it is even distributed, you wait 4-8 minutes, I waited the full 8 and then rinse fully, I just let the shower run for 10 minute and sprayed the sides some. The next day, our shower was slip free, it was amazing. There is a slight tackiness but not stickiness and a good feel to it that feel secure on your wet feet in the shower. I only hope this lasts a long time, that is my concern, but even if I had to re-do it annually, it would be worth it. A good value so far and much better then a mat.

Compac Select Safe-T-Shapes Bathtub Decals, Daisy Review

(More customer reviews)These work! They really stick to my shower floor!!!!! They are the very best product I've found in my two year search!
Let me explain. I've tried all the brands at Home Depot, Lowe's & Ace.....and they all failed after just a few weeks use. And I went to extra steps to make sure it was the profuct that failed and not the result of poor installation procedures. On every product I used the same exact procedure:
1. Scrubbed the shower's tile floor with industrial green cleaner.
2. Rinsed with fresh clear water.
3. Using a hair dryer, directed it against the tile to make sure it was totally dry.
4. Scrubbed the tile with rubbing alcohol to make sure it was absolutely clean. Used the hair dryer again.
5. Wiped the tile with a clean cotton towel.
6. Peeled off the back of the product to expose the sticky back and, starting at one side, carefully laid the product on insuring that no bubbles appeared.
7. Using a wallpaper seam wooden roller, rolled the product with my full body weight to insure solid and uniform adhesion to the tile.
8. Finally, used the hair dryer to heat the adhesive on the product to insure uniform dispersion and contact of the adhesive with the tile.
I used the same exact procedure with all the Lowe's, Home Depot and Ace products, and the only one that uniformly stuck was this Amazon product "Safe-T-Shapes" made by Compac in Decatur, GA.
I've been so pleased, that I've ordered two more packages once again since my original Amazon purchase.
They come in white, do not fade (some others turned yellow) are constructed with pop-out centers making it easy to configure for corners of areas near the drain or sides.
So, if you want a great shower or tub non-skid application, order these Safe-T-Shapes made by Compac. You will be pleased with them for sure!
