(More customer reviews)I bought this clipper for our cocker spaniel. I wanted to learn to shave him myself to save money on taking him to a groomer every two weeks. So far I have used it on him 3 times without any problems. It is pretty quiet and was easy for me to use on him from the start. There are 4 blade attachments but I generally use the shortest on him for an all over cut. (I'm not trying to do anything fancy with it.) He is getting more used to it and each time I get faster with it. I definately recommend it for beginners.
