(More customer reviews)I have always liked these beds, but the covers do not last very long. I bought
replacements for two beds used by an Older Lab and Shepherd. These dogs only sleep
on them and they are in a heated kennel. Both covers developed small holes that
became large holes that made the bed worthless. These could be from toe nails.
These dogs are not chewers and did not mistreat the covers. The Little Tag in the
Corner "Coolaroo for Life" does not even mean for doggie life years. The
Company guarantees these covers only against Sunlight damage. (How useful is that).
Dog wear is on you. I am sorry that a large International Company cannot make a
Stronger Longer Lasting Cover. And the Slogan "For Life" sewn on every cover is
only misleading.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this raised pet bed for my cat that mostly stays in our basement. We were having a problem with water coming in the basement if it rains hard or heavy snow starts melting all at once. This raised bed is a perfect solution to keeping the cat's bed dry and clean. I purchased a soft cat bed to put on top of this raised bed, and the cat has hardly gotten up from it, he likes it so much. He's an old guy, so it probably feels better to have that suspension support underneath him instead of a bed laid right on a hard floor.

(More customer reviews)I liked the style of this bed and material did seem like it would be stain resistant but the bed its self was just too puffy for my dog. When she would sit it would go flat where her body was not giving her any support and then the part she wasn't laying on would puff up like a life raft.
My dog is a 70lb female Rhodesian mix and the large bed was too small for her.
I sent it back, not worth the money. Also the dog hair sticks like crazy to the material so it looks dirty very fast.

(More customer reviews)I bought one for my dog after he had elbow surgery, now I bought a second one.
The dogs like it a lot, and the canvas side is durable, my only wish is they offered this with the canvas on BOTH sides as the fleece side which I have face down on the tile floor tends to pick up and hold shed hair etc.
It says it can be machine washed but not to tumble dry, not sure why it cant be tumble dried but would be great if it could be to dry it quickly.

(More customer reviews)I got this to go with their matching cot. It definitely helps make the whole setup a great product. I think anyone looking to buy the cot should get this, but am glad they sell them separately for those that don't want both, you get options this way. As with the cot, the mat so far seems well built. The straps on the 4 corners are nice to keep it on the cot, though if you don't want to use them they tuck away nicely so they aren't hanging out.
