I've also used this to line our kitchen table when we hollow out and carve pumpkins. The paper is nicer than I anticipated, and takes crayons, tempura paints, and markers well.

(More customer reviews)Bought this for a 2 yr old to help her sit still while mom is fixing dinner. It worked soooo well that she wants me to buy a 2nd one! The only complaint is that the crayons are a bit fragile in the mechanism used to move the crayon "up" for further usage. That needs a little work, but that is a small problem. Overall great item!

They work great, go through my dishwasher fine and entertain my 2 and 5 year old! I use the crayons that go with it, haven't tried the pencil, but it says that works? I highly recommend these!
