(More customer reviews)I gave these a try, and they are ok. Not great, not bad but ok. In comparison to Wrap-n-mat and Lunchbots....these are probably my least favorite of the 3. Lunchbots being #1..... Although these can hold a lot, sandwhiches or snacks....they are not so fun to wash and let dry and get stuff out of the corners and seams inside. All in all they are rather taxing to try and wash and get the lunch leftovers out. Sandwhich stuff gets in there, cracker crumbs etc.... and for some reason the velcro on the overlay seems to always snag sponges, washclothes etc when washing.
I would think twice before spending the money...

(More customer reviews)I read one of the reviews on here since he/she said it can be cut and resized, since I need about half the size for my 2 toddlers' lunch boxes. Well, as soon as I (carefully) cut it in half, the water starts leaking everywhere and there goes my mat in the trash! I'm so disappointed that I've decided to write my review so other customers will know what to expect. If you expect to cut this mat to suit your need, do not buy this!

(More customer reviews)This was a product I really wanted to like. It's a wonderful idea but didn't work out quite so well in real life. The wrap mat does keep the sandwich fresh but doesn't protect it from the other items floating in my son's lunchbox, such as milk or apples.
It needs to be hand-washed with warm, soapy water and left to air dry - which means you can't wash it at the last minute. In a pinch, just wipe down the plastic liner. I did try machine washing and drying, with unsuccessful results. (For those of you who want to know what happened, the plastic shrinks and warps.)
If I were to redesign this product, I would try a laminated fabric used for high-quality cloth-diaper covers. This would make the product machine washable and more durable overall.
Meanwhile, I've gone back to the plastic sandwich box, and it's working out just fine. BTW, no one should be using plastic bags for sandwiches anymore...

Thermos Ice Mat, 9 Cube Review

(More customer reviews)Each one comes in it's own plastic sealed baggie. There is no reason to remove them from the baggie and the baggie can be wiped off. Leaving them in the sealed bag does not take up more room and gives it a little more protection from damage and after using 3 for over 2 months i've seen no damage to them.
Refreeze each night. I use all three in the lunch bag each day so it stays cooler longer, but you should assess your needs for chillin' yourself.
Does what i expected and i'm not disappointed.
