(More customer reviews)I'm not one to buy 'important' things for my life unless I've actually seen or 'inspected' them for my needs. However, when the above-mentioned is unavailable to me, I'm always one to do a lot of 'review reading' & 'info research' when attempting to fulfill my needs. Not to mention - I'm also the 'no tax, best internet-buy-I-can-find kinda gal' (inclusive of a decent ship rate).
I searched, and searched, and further searched and thought over many a waterproof cargo liners over the span of a few days. I almost bought something the night of initial reasearch/shopping but am thrilled I didn'; I would not have been happy should I have made the jump then.
So, today..... I'm happy! I'm actually thrilled over my purchase!
With much afterthought of 'what's out there, what's available for the price I'm willing to spend, how I want my liner to 'lay' inside my vehicle.... this was the best choice I could have ever made'!!

The PROS:
I've no dog, however many things I do - do lead to 'wetness'. I fill 5 five gallon bottles for my fishtanks // grocery bags always seem to leak something // I ski and prefer to keep my skis inside my car when roadtripping during the winter // I also bike and both mud & weather can play a huge part in my outtings.
Many universal cargo liners out there are more like a thin foam pad with a water-resistant liner. I decided the foam-like material wouldn't lay flat where I needed it to. It would stick up and belly-flop all around the wheel wells of my cargo area.... this is soooo not what I would be happy with. I wanted something 'weighty; more a 'beefy-heavy-like-material'. This liner fits the bill! It is more of a 'heavy-duty' cloth than thin foam-like placemat material and lays quite well (albeit not perfect) within the cargo area of my vehicle.
Additionally, H2O-proof vs H2O-resistant: I work for an outdoor equipment co ----- resistant isn't worth anyone's time or $$$. This liner is waterproof --- again, worth every penny!
And, the final factor in my decision --- washability = yes, BUT moreso dry-ability! This puppy can take the washer AND the dryer! No 'line-drying' here! Most any other universal cargo liners out there require 'line-drying'. Can't figure out why, buy I really don't need to know now..... I'm dry and ready to go!
While I don't know about you, I've no time to watch the paint dry on something I've been told to 'line dry only'. If it's dirty, I'm gonna wash it... AND I'm gonna want to dry it ---- that way, in less than an hour taken out of my busy day, this allows me to put things back where they belong. Now, with a machine-dry --both the liner and I are happy. We're clean, we're dried, and I've joyously placed the liner back into the cargo area where it belongs! Perhaps some folk have more time, or prefer the 'air-dryed' scent involved in 'line-drying'..... but it's a car ....who cares.... it's clean, it's dried... it's back where it belongs, and you've now time for the perfect lunch at your favorite mexican restaurant! No further anything necessary!
In keeping with 'the pros' -- this puppy showed up 2 days after ordering. The company seems to care and I'm happy enough to be here writing this review! Additionally, the price was right! The CONS:
The velcro doesn't work worth a rat's behind. I do say that happily because the velcro (stay-put material/whatever they call it) can trash your interior carpeting over time and personally I was hoping it came with a sticky hook&loop mate that I could just leave as was rather than stick to my cargo interior carpet. It didn't come with a 'mate' and it doesn't stick (at least in the carpeted cargo area of an X3 BMW). Perhaps I've the wrong type of carpet for it to stick to?
I bought into this liner knowing the dimensions. Truly, the only demise of my purchase is that it does not cover the length of my entire cargo area should I drop down the 2nd row/passenger seats. I knew that going in but I'm happy still with my purchase. However, for those of you trying to sort of exactly fit an X3 - you'll need a good extra 16-20" or so in length in order to cover the 'laid-down 2nd row pass seats'.
The width is fabulous (at least for my needs). Each side of the liner lays approx 6-8" up the wheelwells within the cargo area.
Should you want to cover more 'side' of the cargo area in an X3, you'd need to add a good 12-14" to the 'width' of whatever other liner you choose to buy.

Personally, I'm an exceptionally happy camper with this purchase; I hope this review helps someone to perhaps more wisely choose what they're needing.>>>>> UPDATE
