(More customer reviews)Our 93-lb Rottweiler/Shepherd dog is at the vet's this very moment because she needs surgery on her left hind leg. Her cranial cruciate ligament tore sometime in the past month or so. To prepare for her post-surgery recovery, the husband and I decided she'd need a bigger bed so she can stretch out while resting. We ordered this dog bed a week ago and it arrived two days ago. Very fast shipping for a bulky item. It took our dog almost a full day to get used to her new bed. There's nothing wrong with the bed. It's perfect. She just usually takes awhile to adjust to new things. The husband threw on a spare pillow and one of our fleece blankets, and she finally felt totally comfortable. We love that the bed is big and roomy. One of us, in fact, can snuggle with her if she wants to make room for us. I am glad we bought this bed.

However, my biggest complaint was that the bed was folded into thirds and stuffed into a small box to be shipped which left permanent creases in the foam and the bed wouldn't lie flat on the floor. Item was returned, not worth the price.

(More customer reviews)I bought 3 of these for my 2 German Shepherds and my Chow/Golden Retriever Mix. The reviews here and the fact that I bought my parents a human version of this for their 49th anniversary, and they love it, helped me make the buying decision.
The dogs, although they have not specifically commented, love these beds. You know a dog loves a bed when you sneak in while they are asleep and they are laying upsidedown, legs in the air, then wake while you watch them, and without moving an inch, they stare at you, trying to understand why you appear to be upsidedown.
Another indication of their enjoyment of the bed is the fact that they are not restless at night. In the past, on a towel, a blanket, or another type of pillow, they moved around like a pauper in a pay toilet and made the associated grunts and groans. That has ended.
I recommend this product!

The cushion is still as thick and fluffy as the day we got it, and it's the first bed we've had that they haven't been able to dig a hole in. It's taken a beating, but it's well made and the cushion, fabric and stitching are still in new condition. Unlike other dog bed product descriptions, the manufacturer didn't exaggerate the 32" x 32" size. We paired it with the 34x34 Noz2Noz Sof-Bed, to keep it off the floor, and it fits perfectly. Excellent product.

The color is great and her hair does not show. It has stayed plump and she has no desire to chew it, unlike the poly filled ones I have bought. I haven't washed it yet as it has not needed it. My dog loves this bed. It has kept her from the furniture.
