I print large landscape panoramas on an Epson 4000 printer - and soon to upgrade to an Epson 4880 - on this paper. My panoramas can go anywhere from 4' to 15' in length and I love the results on this paper. I'd give it 5 stars except that the finished emulsion is very fragile. I sell my panoramas and treat each print that goes out the door with a giclee veneer to protect the finished surface of the print from any rough handling and to extend the colorfast qualities of the print.

Sized specifically for use with Epson Stylus Pro 4000 printers, this 17-inch wide roll provides 100 feet of Epson's popular Enhanced Matte Paper. Its bright white, flat matte surface supports high 1,440 dpi resolution, and is an optimum photographic platform for all your creative projects. It provides reasonable drying time-it's dry to the touch after printing but requires 24 hours for complete curing-and can be cut to size using the Stylus Pro 4000's built-in media cutter. Epson recommends encapsulated lamination to ensure the longevity of any projects printed on this media.

I recently picked up an Epson 3880 and have been experimenting with various Epson media. This paper is stiff enough to handle easily, give you something solid to mat, yet still multi-feed into the printer. The surface is brighter white than most of the watercolor paper I use for my ink drawings, and it creates a very nice print as a result. I don't do photo work, so I cannot comment on that, but stepping up to the ultra premium was definitely worth the price difference for fine art reproductions. There is one small problem with all of the Epson papers I've received so far. The top left corner of every stack of paper has been very slightly crunched inside the box, and the boxes have been undamaged. Apparently, something in the loading or handling process at the factory causes the problem. I notified Epson, but never heard anything back. Since I am matting my prints, which covers this very small defect, it has not deterred me from using their papers, but if you're doing a flush mount without any edge coverage, it may cause you a problem.
