(More customer reviews)I got this mat for my son when he was three months old. He is now over six months old and still uses it daily. It is great to put it on the floor so he can move around. It has been spit up on many times and all you have to do is throw it in the washer and it's back to clean again. I love it! We take it with us when we go anywheres so that he will have a clean spot to lay around and play. It's very lightweight yet just enough cushion.

(More customer reviews)Bought 2 of these to replace mats I purchased 20 years ago at Pier One. My old ones were of a higher quality material, and were thicker. I don't expect these to last anywhere near 20 years, but for the price, I can't complain. On the upside, they are thinner and lighter, so easier to fit in the backpack, and less weight to carry.

Looks nice (just as pictured) & is comfortable.
The only thing that I did not expect was that the surface feels somewhat like cloth (but comfortable to the touch).
I just re-read the product description and it says "Polyester Face".
I expected the surface to be more smooth ... like a foam mat.
I just got it, so I don't know if it gets dirty easily, but that would be my only concern.
The label says that it can be hand washed with mild soap and water and dried flat (should not be immersed in water).
The other thing I like (from an ecological perspective) is that it is made with recycled materials.
I purchased these for my nieces and nephews to sit on in a nook I'm decorating with a sea scape, so these will do well for that purpose.
