Instead of using the small, more expensive box of tissues inside, I purchased the larger cardboard full-sized box of facial tissues and cut in in half cross-wise. Put on its end, that half-box makes it the exact size of the smaller, compact tissue boxes, and it provides a refillable insert that fits perfectly into the base of this holder.
Using this pretty cover is a nice way to keep tissues at hand without displaying an ugly supermarket cardboard tissue holder.
