(More customer reviews)These towels measure 18 1/2 X 37 (not 20 X 40). They are heavy cotton with a nice texture to them. My wife says "Now these are hand towels! I can put my hair-up in these." I have washed them once. They gave off a lot of lint. The hold their shape well and it is quite obvious that they are made to last. I am very happy with these and highly recommend them.
