(More customer reviews)I am a breeder and have bought hundreds of dollars of these pads. I include 2 pads in my starter gift bags for the new puppy parents. I recently decided to buy a heating lamp from the same company. I bought two bulbs, just in case. The first bulb blew out upon screwing it in and the second bulb stopped working after 3 days. Luckily, I had also bought a Lectro-Kennel heating pad for my new litter of pups and didn't have to rely on the lamp.
When I asked to return the defective lamp and bulbs, "Boyd" was rude and implied that somehow it was my fault that the heating lamp did not work properly or that my house wiring was faulty. Since I'm a mechanical engineer and I designed and built my own house, this was not the case.
I returned the bad lamp and received an email from "Boyd" that "As for further sales, I do not believe this is in our mutual best interest. We have not met your standards as a buyer and I do not believe that further transactions will be profitable for either of us."!!! Very poor customer service! I will continue to buy the pads through Amazon so that if I have to return one, I will not have to deal with "Boyd"!!!
