The frame comes with plexi glass as described, though it posed more of a challenge than I anticipated in a house with pets (lots of static = lots of hair inside my frame). The mounting instructions included were for a different mounting system than I was provided though. Thankfully my boyfriend figured it out.
Overall I would say that the price is higher than for other collage frames available commercially, but the ability to customize makes it worth it. I'm not sure how much using glass instead of plexi would increase the price; maybe it would have put the frame outside my price range.
