(More customer reviews)I have a great cat, but he can be destructive. We had just moved into a new home we bought and the cat began scratching at the bedroom door where it meets the jamb and floor. Doing this, over time, he ends up pulling the carpet out. At our last place, he had actually clawed through the carpet to the subfloor. We had a $350 carpet repair before we could put that house on the market. At the new home, he would start this at 3:30 to 4 A.M. EVERY NIGHT! So, after a few weeks of fighting this, I bought the Pawz Away and now we get to sleep all night, no interruptions, no scratching at the door - life is good! My only complaint about this product line is that there is no size between the small and large. The small is too long and narrow to fit in front of hallway (end of hallway bedroom) doors and keep critters away and the next size is the right width, but again too long. If they had a product that woulod fit a standard hallway width, that would be great as the 24 X 48 (which I have) has to curl over into the guest bathroom doorway in order to lay flat. But - it works! The cats and dogs stay away from it and my wife and I get to have a full nights sleep. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the size selection.
