The color and pattern goes perfectly with the decor of my dining room and the other decor of my home which is different shades of blue, beige and brown. Im not sure about the material, but I think these mats are made from sturdy cotton and two of these mats fit perfectly on my 36 inch round beveled glass top dining room table. The color and pattern is exactly what it is on the amazon website. What you see on amazon is exactly what you get. The placemats arrived faster than I expected so I highly recommend ordering these mats from the seller listed on the amazon site. The service is great and the price is a great deal. I highly recommend these placemats for anyone who has a round table and is looking for beautiful shades of blue in a leaf pattern. I couldnt be more thrilled with my purchase. Two thumbs up.
