(More customer reviews)I'm baffled by the one star review posted by Traveler. Also they havent posted any responses to other user questions about their disappointment with the mat quality. If you've stayed in ANY hotel, you probably had an array of towels, and one specifically intended for use on the floor to step onto as you're leaving the shower. This is great for anyone who doesn't really like having a fixture rug on their bathroom floor- where people will step with shoes and dirty feet. This bath mat offers so much cushion and feels great when you're stepping out of the shower/bath, especially compared to my only personal alternative- the bare floor. These towels are as soft, and probably softer than what I'm used to at hotels (regarding the motel statement), and are probably the best alternative to bathroom rugs for anyone, even people who have not experimented with bath mats and don't think/know they would prefer one. You place it on the floor only when you're using your bath or shower, and hang it up, drape along the side of the tub when you're done. I love this matt and am glad I purchased two. (It's nice to swap out between laundry days versus waiting out one clean mat.)

Care Instructions: To best care for this product, please exclusively follow the washing instructions on the label. Fabric softeners should not be used when washing or drying, since softeners often include chemicals that can break down the construction of the material and decrease its absorbency.
In addition, take care to avoid direct contact between this product's fabric and chemical acids or bleaches often found in many cosmetics. Certain cosmetics such as facial care products, creams, makeup, and makeup removers contain chemical acids and/or bleaches which can discolor fabric. These chemicals do not dissolve in water and may cling to the fabric when wiped against the skin, leading to a discoloration that appears as spots or "splotches." Generally, it's best to use a towel or cloth with white fabric when removing facial creams and similar products from the face. Likewise, discolorations may also occur when attempting to spot-clean stains with bar soap. Certain bar soaps also contain high acidity levels and/or dyes that can discolor fabric.
