(More customer reviews)I have a microwave/convection oven combo (that I LOVE) and on Saturday and Sunday mornings often pop some "scone bites" from the freezer into the convection oven to have with tea before starting my weekend --- and what's better on a winter's evening than three or four chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven (it helps me with portion control to make the dough and form them, then freeze them and bake them a few at a time).
Parchment paper has previously been my liner of choice for baking in the convection oven (fresh blueberries in scones and chocolate chips from cookies can be particularly messy when they leak, and more challenging to clean off the metal baking tray for the convection oven).
I also use it on the microwave turntable, as it is advertised to be used (although I reheat pizza in a cast iron fry pan on my range top rather than in the microwave). But I love this mat underneath items that might boil over (i.e., oatmeal) it makes cleanup so much easier --- and keeps the turntable cleaner!
