(More customer reviews)I own a dishwasher but naturally there are fine items like crystal that you may not want to put in the machine, and want to hand wash. This is a great item because it takes up very little space under the sink or drawer when not in use. It works very well because it allows the water to drain off the items and allows air to dry them without causing spots. It leaves my countertop dry and tidy. I use two of these because one alone is fairly small. My adult children have admired them so much that I gifted each of them a pair and they were very pleased. The product name implies they are just for wine glasses but they work great for other washed items as well. When I have an oversized pot or whatever it handles that as well. The weight of the bigger heavier items has not crushed or presented a problem with the surface of the drain mat. I love this item.
