I envisioned a perfect LL Bean setting with the tray right outside my door, with very cute boots sitting on it, but it is so much more practical than that. I have 3 bigs dogs and walk them daily--it has become my outdoor pet center: room for boots, park shoes, leashes, toys and bags. My husband was a bit dubious as he had big ol' size 14 feet, but it works great (we prop his boots just a bit on the edge--see photo I attached). After time the tray gets a bit grubby and I just take the stuff off and either give it a good shake or just a quick hose down. It has really neated our porch and I just love it.
