(More customer reviews)Since 1980, I've hunted with English setters. These dogs are prone to develop fine hair mats at the base of their ears, toward their shoulders. A number of years ago I stumbled upon the Untanger Mini Rake Pet Comb and discovered that it's the best and most humane tool for removing loose hair and balled up mats from flat coated dogs like setters. This tool is a great value, and removes mats without torturing the dog. Can't say enough good things about this tool. Made in America when I bought mine, a definite plus.
