(More customer reviews)This is about a 1" thick mat as advertised. I love mine as I have a big drop down into the shower, and so it raises your whole platform stepping down. I think it makes the shower more relaxing, definitely not slipperly at all. I have been using it for several months and will need to reoil soon as it is starting to show a little wear in the middle of the mat.
