(More customer reviews)I bought these partly because I'm fed up with laundering placemats, and I thought they would be lower maintenance. However, after wiping with a sponge, the high gloss surface needs to be polished to look its best. I found those somewhat expensive "Magic Towels" do the trick. I would buy these placemats again for the excellent images, and they would make a beautiful hostess gift.

Attractive top quality placemats by Jason of New Zealand. The hardboard and cork is sourced from renewable resources. The edges are heat sealed, the surface is smooth and the cork backing will protect your table. Just wipe clean with a damp cloth.
