OK, NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING BUT JEEZ TALK BOUT QUALITY! so this one i would imagine would take some time in the dryer! have not done so so can't speak to that. bright white as i wanted and not terribly soft but is not rough either. i would call this puppy more of a rug and less a bath "mat".
