It is thick, however, and too thick for me to place in front of my door - this should be taken into consideration if you have a screen door that opens outward as the thickness of the mat prevents my screen door from clearing the height of the mat. I have had to place the mat to the side of the door opening. Because it is a nice mat, I decided to keep it nonetheless.
